Plácido Domingo, the world-famous Spanish tenor, is spending one month in Madrid working on a new challenge: He will debut with a complete "Madame Butterfly" opera at the "Teatro Real" while at the same time running "Operalia", an international competition for new opera singers.

Domingo considers himself as an “environmentally friendly” person and demonstrates this commitment by choosing a Saab 9-5 BioPower for his daily moves during his stay in Spain, showing that by driving a Saab BioPower it is possible to take care of the air quality that we breath in big cities such as Madrid.
Plácido Domingo has a very good and longstanding relationship with GM España: For the past 15 years, he has been using various GM cars during his stays in Spain – taking advantage of the company's multi-brand approach.
