Back for another season and better than ever!
Vauxhall Fashion Scout, the renowned off-schedule venue for emerging fashion designers, is back for London Fashion Week 2008 with another action-packed event.

This season is set to be the biggest yet with Vauxhall Fashion Scout becoming the number one venue for off-schedule designers, boasting 15 catwalk shows and showcasing 19 talented designers such as Avsh Alom Gur, Aganovich, Felder Felder and Peter Pilotto.
Brought together by Martyn Roberts, John Walford and Vauxhall in 2006, the Vauxhall Fashion Scout initiative works with the UK’s best emerging fashion designers and drives them forward, providing the knowledge and support they need to succeed.
“We’re extremely excited by this season’s line-up”, says Martyn Roberts of Vauxhall Fashion Scout. “We’ve selected some amazing designers to show with us and VFS is building a real presence and popularity within London Fashion Week. This is testament to the fact that our up and coming designers have real talent in the industry and Vauxhall Fashion Scout is helping them achieve the recognition they deserve!”
Show producer and Co-Founder of Graduate Fashion Week John, and business partner Martyn, an ex-fashion PR Director and sponsorship consultant, are both industry insiders and have many combined years of experience working in the fashion industry. They have organised shows for acclaimed designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Julian MacDonald, Hussein Chalayan and Boudicca both here in the UK and in cities around the world. They decided to form The Fashion Scout with the aim of providing opportunities for emerging fashion talent in the UK. And since the conception, it has gone from strength to strength with designers now applying seasons in advance to be involved!
Vauxhall Fashion Scout will be hosting shows between the 11th and 15th February. A full schedule including designer contacts will be released on 4th February. More information can be found at www.vauxhallfashionscout.com
