Yesterday, the renowned Swiss car magazine, "auto- illustrierte ", awarded the Best Cars 2007. The Corsa won the title in the "Best Small Car" category – ahead of 22 competitors.

"I'm very pleased that we received this coveted award. Winning this award shows that the Corsa has the qualities to take the leadership in its segment," said Rainer Treitz, Director, Brand Director for Opel in Switzerland.
For the 13th time, the prestigious prizes were awarded on the basis of readers' votes only. The 312 most important cars in the European market were divided into 10 categories and the magazine's readers chose their favorites based on criteria such as "which car best fulfills the requirement of its category" or "which vehicle in this category would I buy".
