The fastest ever Corvette - the ZR1 - makes its UK debut at the British International Motorshow on July 22nd. The blistering super car, which will be sold in the UK in limited numbers, will be joined by the outstanding Z06 and C6 models. This muscle bound display drives home the brand's winning formula – legendary American super car performance, luxurious style and affordable prices



Corvette ZR1

· New supercharged 6.2 LS9 small-block V-8 engine with 647PS maximum power and 819Nm peak torque
· 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds
· 0-100 mph in 7.0 seconds
· Top speed 205 mph

The Corvette ZR1 which builds on the success of the Z06 has a top speed of 205mph (330 km/h), making it the fastest Corvette ever produced. With its outstanding performance capabilities the car comfortably ranks among the global super cars in terms of power. The first of a limited number of vehicles bound for Europe will arrive in the UK at the end of the year.

Corvette Z06

· 7.0-litre V8 delivers 505PS maximum power with 637Nm peak torque
· 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds and 198mph top speed
· Aggressive exterior poise hides generous and luxurious interior space

Currently on sale in the UK in left hand drive the Z06 was developed alongside the Le Mans GT1 class-winning Corvette C6.R race car and benefits directly from an extensive transfer of motorsport technologies, engineering know-how and advanced materials to deliver blistering performance.

The hand-built 7.0-litre V8 LS7 engine delivers 505 ps maximum power with 637 Nm peak torque. With that immense power available, the 1418 kg Z06 catapults from a standing start to 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds and to a top speed of 198 mph.

The Aggressive exterior poise hides generous and luxurious interior space which features a number of unique elements that accentuate this Corvette’s performance credentials, but also ensure a luxurious and comfortable driving experience making the Z06 a true everyday super car. Drivers benefit from a head-up display and cruise control and both occupants can enjoy the premium Bose sound system and heated leather seats embroidered with the Z06 logo.

Corvette C6 2008

· 6.2-litre V8 delivers 437PS (up 9.2 per cent) and 575Nm peak torque
· Hydroformed chassis structure with lightweight composite body panels
· Supercar performance with 0-62mph in 4.3 sec and 186mph top speed

The sixth generation of the Corvette, the 2008 C6, offers customers a choice of coupe or convertible delivering supercar performance with great style and quality.

For 2008, the Corvette C6 is powered by an uprated version of the famous small-block V8, with a 200cc hike in capacity to 6.2 litres. The LS3 engine delivers peak output levels of 437PS at 5900rpm – up 9.2 per cent – and 575Nm of torque at 4600rpm – up 5.3 per cent over last year’s model.
