Chevrolet Cruze, Orlando show car, Camaro and Chevrolet Volt production version presented at Chevrolet Premiere Event
GM President and Chief Operating Officer Fritz Henderson and Ed Welburn, GM vice president of Global Design revealed two world and two European premieres on the eve of this year’s Paris Motor Show. At the Chevrolet Premiere Night on October 1, a new generation of global Chevrolet vehicles was presented to the international media. In GM’s centennial year, the production version of the Chevrolet Volt electric vehicle stood out as the center of attention. “We may be a century old”, said COO Fritz Henderson, “but Volt stands out as a symbol of what’s new at GM.”
To celebrate this new generation of cars, Chevrolet invited not only the media but also opened its event to the public who enjoyed a concert of the famous French DJ Bob Sinclar and DJ Christelle. The youthful and creative atmosphere continued throughout the evening with various activities hosted by students participating in the Young? Creative? Chevrolet! art competition.
In fact, Chevrolet takes center stage at this year’s Paris Motor Show, with the European premieres of the Volt, the iconic sports car Camaro, the world premiere of the Cruze compact sedan and the Orlando multi-purpose vehicle show car. Read more ...
