Opel Polska Distinguished for its Employee-Relations Efforts

In a survey recently published by the Polish newspaper "Rzeczpospolita" about the best and the worst companies in Poland from an employee-relations point of view, Opel Polska ranked among the 10 best companies in the country. In particular, the Opel Polska was praised for "the belief, supported by deeds, that it is better to co-operate with the Trade Unions on improving communications with employees, assessing their satisfaction levels and conducting on-going consultations, than to engage in mutually harmful confrontation". The survey was conducted by independent personnel consultants, who, among other factors, took into consideration the companies' public and media image.
