German Car Magazine Praises Opel Astra after long-term Test

IA long term-test of the Astra in the August 18 edition of the authoritative German car magazine, mot, documents again Opel's continuously improving quality. "Heading in the right direction", concludes mot, after the 100,000 km long-term test of an Astra 1.6 Comfort. "Opel can feel satisfied with the overall quality."

Fuel consumption received special praise: "Even driving quickly on the Autobahn.... the Astra seldom consumed more than nine liters per 100 km. Sometimes it needed much less than seven."

Mot was also very impressed by the agility and ride comfort of the chassis. "With the responsive steering, the Astra is really fun to drive and almost begs to be driven quickly round corners."
