Congratulations to the Austrian and German customer
care teams
Or Happy Birthday to the Austrian and German Customer Care
teams! December marks the first anniversary of the Austrian front desk
team's arrival in the UK and the second birthday of the German team.
Congratulations to the Austrian and German Customer Care teams! December
marks milestones anniversaries for both.
Established more than two years ago, the centralized European Customer
Care Center consists of a team of approx. 300 people servicing more than
20 nations at its headquarters in Luton.
This centralized team handles all queries related to GM, Opel, and Daewoo-UK
from one location and in the caller's language.
From "What color is the Opel logo?" to "Can you help me
with a service issue?" the team provides customer care to over 8.2
million owners and drivers of GM products.
"We answer 99% of all calls within 20 seconds and are handling up
to 1000 customer contacts per day," explains Kai Rabe, leader of
the German team. "On average, our German team of 51 handles more
than 550 incoming calls. Together with small teams in Rüsselsheim
and Kaiserslautern we handle more than 9000 pieces of correspondence a
month. This includes around 3000 emails we get from Opel's website.
The Austrian team, led by Nicola Tondolo, work closely with their colleagues
back in Austria, who like their German colleagues handle any high profile
cases. On average the UK based Austrian team has 800 customer contacts
per month.
Cooperation and professionalism among the teams both at the European Customer
Care Center and locally ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and
brand loyalty.
