Vectra is fit for harsh polar conditions
Vectra came first among 19 new entries in a comprehensive winter test arranged by the biggest finish motoring magazine TEKNIIKAN MAAILMA. The Vectra proved that it's winter qualities are well suited to the extreme conditions of the Polar Circle.
The Vectra performed very well in passenger compartment heating build-up and capacity tests and had good electrical heating systems as well. In other winter test areas Vectra put up convincing and steady performance.
Among 19 vehicles tested, the Vectra 2,2 GTS left behind new models such as Mercedes Benz E Class, Volvo V40 Sportswagon, Mazda 6, Nissan Primera, Skoda Superb and Renault Megane.
The test is covered in a comprehensive thirty page long report in the new TEKNIIKAN MAAILMA 3/2003 edition.
