Opel announces the launch of its new website, www.opel.com/design, where users can learn about car design and the Opel design language.

Opel is the first manufacturer to offer the public such extensive on-line information source for automotive design.

The Flash-animated application provides a broad range of information:

• the design process from the first sketches to the final product
• the characteristics of Opel design and its evolution through the decades
• Opel concept cars as well as the types of jobs in car design
• Extensive list of links to further explore the world of design
