New GM Daewoo Approved Used Car Program in the UK

GM Daewoo is introducing a brand new Approved Used Car program across its UK retail network with immediate effect. The comprehensive Approved Used Car program offers the added reassurance that customers desire when buying a used car.

 Under the banner 'No Hidden Extras - Promise', GM Daewoo approved used cars will come with:

  • A multipoint vehicle condition and safety check
  • A minimum of 12 months Daewoo approved warranty
  • 6 months road fund licence
  • A full service to manufacturer specification if due within 6 months/6000 miles
  • 12 months Total AA cover

Research shows that car buyers are much more wary when buying used as in many cases, little is known of the vehicle history - with the GM Daewoo program, all that is taken care of. The company will provide a full vehicle history/provenance check and certificate and even an independent mileage check where appropriate and in line with GM Daewoo's continuing focus on supplying the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction, all GM Daewoo approved used cars also come with a written 30 day/1000 miles no hassle exchange commitment.

The GM Daewoo Approved Used Car program has been created in association with the GM Daewoo retail network. Approved used cars can be instantly recognized on the forecourt as they carry newly developed, highly visible screen flashes, number plate covers and interior windscreen price displays in the new GM Daewoo corporate style. Each participating retailer carries full details of the program and the package of features will apply to Daewoo and other brands sold by the retailer within the approved used program.

Daewoo residual values are already building strongly with the industry guides showing a month on month enhancement. GM Daewoo is confident that the new Approved Used Car program will underpin this process.

The GM Daewoo Approved Used car program has been developed with Car Care Plan who will administer the warranty element. Car Care Plan also supports the Network Q program of GM Daewoo's sister GM company, Vauxhall.
