Vauxhall launches 100,000th LPG vehicle

The LPG Association, in partnership with Vauxhall, launched the 100,000th liquid petroleum gas (LPG) vehicle in the UK, a Vauxhall Vectra Dualfuel model, at a ceremony in London last week.

Vauxhall representatives attended the official launch along with the Minister of State for Industry and Energy, Brian Wilson, and other guests from the fuel and auto industry.

LPG sales so far this year have increased by 60 percent. Vauxhall has the largest range of dualfuel vehicles in the market place, which will soon include a Corsa 1.2-liter model.
