Cadillac demonstrates strength at IAA
Attendees at Frankfurt's IAA Motor Show are the first in Europe to see the Cadillac SRX and the Cadillac XLR.
The Cadillac SRX is making its first appearance to the European public at Frankfurt's IAA Motor Show. The crossover vehicle combines a sporty exterior with the driving dynamics and on-road safety of a station wagon and the off-road abilities and interior space of an SUV. The SRX is due to go on sale in Europe in the near future.
The Cadillac XLR also premieres on the GM stand at the Frankfurt Motor Show. This elegant two-seater roadster/coupe boasts a retractable hardtop and is fitted with automatic headway control via radar and head-up display. The 4.6-liter Northstar V8 with 231-kW/315 hp drives the XLR.
The Cadillac Sixteen celebrates its German premiere at the IAA and features a V16 engine under the hood and delivers exactly 1000 hp or 745 kW. This 5.67-meter long concept car boasts an innovative aluminum body with a large glass roof and a sumptuously furnished interior with walnut wood and crystal accents. These features recreate the classic atmosphere of a 1930s luxury automobile.
