GME Vectra Dialog program wins Marketing Direct Intelligence Award

The Vectra Dialog program, an Olympia initiative using database marketing techniques to deliver qualified leads to dealers has won the Marketing Direct Intelligence Award.

This prestigious award recognizes both the sophistication of the database marketing techniques in use and the substantial business success that the Vectra Dialog program has achieved. The program is running in seven European markets to support the launch of the three Vectra body styles and Signum over a period of three years. The principles established in the Vectra launch have been used to support the recent Meriva launch and are planned to support the Astra launch next year.

Marketing Direct (UK) established the Intelligence Awards several years ago to recognize companies demonstrating the intelligent and creative use of consumer data in direct marketing. GME was awarded the first prize jointly with Volkswagen over entries by Volvo, Peugeot and BMW, as well as an entry by the BBC Top Gear Magazine.
