Opel's continuing strong progress in quality is confirmed by a long-term test report of the Opel Corsa in "auto motor und sport". In the current edition the authoritative German magazine writes: "The Corsa shows that durability at Opel isn't just company nostalgia. You can really buy it again."
With only one unscheduled visit to the workshop during the entire 100,000 km, the 75 hp Corsa 1.2 (first registered in 2001) demonstrated impressive reliability. The testers praised in particular the heating, the navigation system and the controls, as well as the low tire wear and the very moderate running costs.
"Auto Motor und Sport" concludes: "With this performance the Opel Corsa goes to the top of its class and achieves a far better result than the previous model, which was tested back in 1996."
