Opel Meriva wins comparison test
Autoreview, one of the most influential Russian automotive magazines, has named the Opel Meriva the winner in a comparative test with Mercedez A-190 Avantgarde and Mitsubishi Space Star 1.8 Comfort.
Opel Meriva scored 815 points out of possible 1000 and came first in categories like driving dynamics, steering and suspension characteristics, acoustic comfort and interior transformation. Both Mercedez and Mitsubishi scored 775 points.
The Autoreview experts also praised the stylish interior, German quality of sound insulation and excellent suspension. They especially noted the comfortable arrangements for the back passengers that by far exceed those offered by the competitors.
The leading statement from the article is: "Meriva is a modern car. It is bigger, more comfortable and more dynamic than its competitors, has better driving characteristics, excellent insulation and offers a wide range of transformations. In terms of driving characteristics none of the competitors came close to Meriva. If your car should not only bring you from A to B, but make the trip exciting, Meriva is the best choice".
Autoreview was founded in 1989 by Michael Podorozhanskiy, COTY member, and has circulation of 220,000 copies. It is published every two weeks.
