November sales strong for Saab US

In the USA, Saab continues to set a strong sales pace. In November 3,600 new cars were sold. Year- to-date, sales have reached 44,408 units, a full 27% increase on last year.

In November, Saab sold a total of 10,062 cars worldwide, bringing sales for the first 11 months to more than 121,000 cars, an increase of 11,100 units year to date.

In the US, Saab continues to set a strong sales pace. Last month, 3,600 new cars were sold (2,770 in 2002), a 30 percent increase. Year- to-date, sales have reached 44,408 units, a 27percent increase year to date.

In Sweden, 2,496 Saab cars were sold in November, a 17.5 per cent decrease. Trading conditions continue to be difficult with an overall market decline for the month of 9.4 percent. However, year-to-date, Saab is showing a 7.1 per cent increase in a market that has increased by only 2.8 percent.

Hans Karlander, Saab Automobile's Sales Director, says: "Saab sales continue to grow compared with 2002. In the US, we are within sight of a record year. In Italy and the UK, we are also now increasing sales, especially of the new Saab 9-3 Sport Sedan."
