Opel Zafira best sold van in Germany in 2003

The Opel Zafira is leading the German van market with 51,682 registered units for the forth time since its introduction five years ago.

The Opel Flex7 seating system is still a unique selling point of the Zafira. Customers say that the fact that the foldable seats don't have to be taken out and stored away was one of the reasons to purchase the Zafira. In addition to its versatility, further arguments are the high residual value, the favourable insurance classification as well as the wide range of options and standard features.

Since its market debut in 1999, more than 255,000 customers chose the compact van in Germany. In April 2003, the Opel plant in Bochum saw the 1 millionth Zafira coming off the production line.
