Saab 9-5 recommended as safest car by Swedish newspaper

The Swedish evening newspaper, "Aftonbladet", selected the Saab 9-5 as the safest of all in real life conditions.

"According to a study made by the insurance company Folksam, the Saab 9-5 is the safest car in Sweden for 2003. It is the only car with crash safety more than 40 percent better than the average car. The Saab 9-5 has also been recognized for having the lowest risk of invalidity among all cars", states Aftonbladet.

" It is especially gratifying for the 9-5 to be mentioned as the safest car of the year by Aftonbladet. This distinction is based on the results of real accidents," says Christer Nilsson, press officer at Saab Automobile AB. "It demonstrates the effectiveness of all our work with crash safety and supports our philosophy, Real Life Safety."
