The editors of the US car magazine "Car and Driver" have named the 2004 Cadillac SRX as the best Luxury Sport Utility vehicle.

The award will be highlighted in the March issue of Car and Driver. The article cites SRX as further proof that "Cadillac is on a roll." Other highlights: "With Nürburgring racetrack development baked into its heritage, its solid goods...fresh-from-the-cleaners creases, distinctive interior styling, and excellent road manners make it hard to resist."

Available in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive applications, the SRX is based on GM's acclaimed new Sigma architecture, designed to deliver superior driving dynamics. Engine combinations include a 3.6L V-6 and a 4.6L V-8.
