Geneva: GME Product drive in high gear

GME continues aggressive global product offensive at the 74th Geneva Motor Show and will feature 4 World Premieres and 3 European Premieres from Opel/Vauxhall, Saab, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Daewoo and Hummer.


World, European and Swiss Premieres include:

- Opel/Vauxhall introduces the world premiere of the Tigra Twin Top, a sporty two-seater with an electro-hydraulic, retractable steel roof and the ultra compact city car, the TRIXX design study. In addition, Opel brings the new Astra to Switzerland for the first time.
- GM Daewoo rounds off its range of modern, compact-class models with the world debut of its spacious Nubira Station Wagon.
- Corvette celebrates the world premiere of the Corvette C6 Convertible in Geneva as well as the European Premiere of the new, 6th generation Corvette Coupe first shown at NAIAS in January.
- Hummer will showcase the Hummer H2 Sports Utility Truck (SUT) for the first time in Europe. Initially shown as a concept in 2001, the H2 SUT blends off-road capability and a rear cargo bed with an adjustable bulkhead.
- Saab brings the 9-3 Sport Hatch Concept, a sporty, five-door, four-seater mid-size wagon, to Switzerland for the first time
- GM demonstrates its unique and global design competence by showing the Buick LeSabre concept (1950), the Opel Insignia (2003) and the Chevrolet Nomad (2004). In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to experience GM design by visiting one of the three design studios at the stand.
