GM presents the Juno concept car at Disney World in Florida
The GM Juno concept is based on the Opel/Vauxhall Zafira. With special
features that keep children safe, comfortable and entertained, Juno is
an affordable family vehicle. It will be on display at Disney World's
Epcot theme park in Orlando, Florida, throughout the remainder of 2004.
GM has been an active partner at Disney World since 1982 when it opened
the GM World of Motion at Epcot. It's current attraction --The GM Test
Track-- opened in March 1999 and is home to one of Disney World's most
popular thrill rides. The Juno concept car further enhances GM's
presence at Disney World.
Based on the best-selling Opel/Vauxhall Zafira the versatile concept
is equipped with many features to suit especially young Disney visitors:
| - | a specially designed step-assist and handles to help smaller kids get in and out of the vehicle; |
| - | seats designed for the comfort of children and placed for convenient interaction between both children and adult passengers; |
| - | monitors located at the infant seat and also on the dashboard so parents and baby can keep an eye on each other; |
| - | controls for temperature and lighting located right at the seats so children can control their own comfort resulting in fewer distractions for the driver; |
| - | windows that can be dimmed for privacy or for naps. |
For longer drives, Juno is equipped with a state-of-the-art entertainment system with video games and DVD players that have directional sound so that only the person directly under the speaker can hear it. Lap tables are included and storage for toys.
