Vauxhall sells 900 Vivaro to BskyB satellite broadcst company

Vauxhall is moving into factory-to-front-door mode in a new multi-million pound deal signed with satellite broadcaster BSkyB.

BSkyB has ordered a fleet of 900 of the award-winning Vivaro panel vans to help deliver and install satellite dishes and set top boxes around the UK.

The vans will be modified alongside the IBC Vehicles assembly track to meet the broadcaster's own specification with extra racking and roof racks to carry equipment, cabling and tools and they are being painted in a new dark blue colour to reflect BSkyB's own corporate look.

Mark Henderson, BSkyB's fleet manager, said Vivaro had been a clear winner in the selection process under which the company asked its drivers to test drive six vans from different manufacturers.
