GM DAT Polska to import and distribute new Chevrolet range

A new company has been established to import and distribute Chevrolet cars in Poland. GM DAT Polska Sp. z o.o is a wholly owned subsidiary of GM Daewoo Auto & Technology Co., Seoul, South Korea. Located in Warsaw, the new company will work closely with GM Poland, benefiting from synergies with the Opel organization.

Chevrolet sales in Poland start in May. The newly established company will offer the latest Chevrolet model, the five-door Lacetti hatchback (C segment) alongside with other models already available in several Central and Eastern European markets: the Aveo hatchback and sedan (B segment), Lacetti sedan (C segment), Evanda (D segment) and Rezzo (compact van). In the fall of this year the range will be extended by the Lacetti station wagon.

Michael Klaus has been appointed Managing Director of GM DAT Polska and will continue his work for GM Poland as Director Sales, Marketing & Aftersales.
