Fuel Cell Marathon reaches Gothenburg Sweden
Having completed the first week of the Fuel Cell Marathon, the HydroGen3
has driven more than 2,600 kilometers from Hammerfest (N) to Gotenburg
(S).
Traveling with three reporters from Germany's Auto Bild and
one from the Swedish television channel, TV4, the HydroGen3 began the
European Marathon in Hammerfest (N) on May 3rd stopping in Oslo before
arriving in Gotenburg over the weekend.
According to Anita Svanes, PR
Manager from GM Norway, the HydroGen3 attracted a lot of attention: "We had a TV report on NRK, the main
Norwegian television channel, showcasing the Norwegian Minister of Transportation
driving the HydroGen3 in downtown Oslo and discussing the principles
of Fuel Cells with GM experts. In addition, 18 media representatives
attended the media briefing, 200 students and guests attended the presentation
at Oslo University and more than 350 persons visited the exhibition".
Today,
the HydroGen3 begins its next leg of the Marathon, from Gothenburg to
Copenhagen. The start will take place this morning at Chalmers Technical
University in Gothenburg with a local media briefing and an opportunity
to drive a second HydroGen3 on tour. Today's events in Gothenburg
will also include an opportunity for visitors to tour the mobile exhibition
and a 90-minute presentation by our Fuel Cell Activities experts.
The
next stop for Fuel Cell Marathon is in Copenhagen on Wednesday, May 12th.
