Fleet experts vote Vauxhall Fleet the best
Vauxhall Fleet wins the important Editor's Award in the 2004 Fleet
World Honors.
Vauxhall Fleet has won the important Editor's Award in the
2004 Fleet World Honors. The award was judged by a panel of experts representing
the leasing industry, fleet managers, residual value guides, and Fleet
World 's editorial team.
The award was one of four made in this
year's honors and is spearheaded
by the naming of the new Astra as the year's Best New Car.
Of the
Editor's Award, Fleet World editor Ross Durkin commented: 'Last
year saw Vauxhall top the fleet sales charts for the first time and that's
an achievement that I felt could not go unacknowledged. With new product
like Vectra Estate and the new Astra, Vauxhall's position is becoming
stronger and I have no doubt that next January the team will be celebrating
another exceptional fleet sales performance."
The fleet industry remains a vitally important area for virtually all
motor manufacturers and Vauxhall's success in this area is built
upon a sound product proposition, backed up by a highly capable fleet
sales team.
In addition, Vauxhall commercial vehicles collected two further
awards from sister magazine Commercial Fleet World. The Best Engine award
went
to the 1.3 CDTi common rail diesel engine which is fitted in Corsavan
and the Luton-built Vivaro was named Best Medium Van.
