Vauxhall launches new diesel campaign
During the month of June Vauxhall launches a new TV ad introducing their new diesel range.
On 1 June through to 30 June Vauxhall will be launching a new 30 second TV ad featuring Vauxhall's diesel range. The aim of the ad is to target people who are considering buying a diesel for their next car and to make them aware of the new performance diesels from Vauxhall. Diesel sales now constitute 30% of the UK car market and Vauxhall aims to capitalize on this trend by launching its new range of "common-rail" diesels.
The ad features Vauxhall's Eco Diesel Concept Car and makes the point that although it looks very desirable and sporty as well as being fuel efficient, it is not very practical. However, it then goes on to state that the technology used in this vehicle has been used in the Vauxhall diesel range (Corsa, Meriva, Astra, Vectra, Signum) which are practical and good looking. This follows on the theme from the recent Press Campaign; 'The Mother of all Diesels', which featured the Eco Diesel Concept Car.
