Opel/Vauxhall Astra and Saab 9-3 Convertible earn five-star rating in Euro NCAP Tests

The independent consumer protection organization, Euro NCAP, gave the Opel/Vauxhall Astra and the Saab 9-3 Convertible the highest rating of five stars in their crash tests.

The Astra was awarded with the highest rating of five stars in front and side impact crash tests. Euro NCAP thus classified the bestseller as the safest sedan in the compact class (small family cars).

Saab's leading role in car safety was confirmed when the Saab 9-3 Convertible received five stars for occupant safety, in frontal and side-impact crash tests. This result gives Saab an impressive all-five-star product line-up, including the 9-3 Convertible, 9-3 Sport Sedan and the Saab 9-5.
