Highly efficient: New engine generation for Opel Combo
The Opel Combo has a new range of engines that are very economical, consuming
up to 15 percent less fuel than the previous models. Besides the new
four-valve, four-cylinder engines, the Combo features a new generation
of infotainment systems.
The Opel Combo has a new range of engines that are very economical, consuming
up to 15 percent less fuel than the previous models. The new entry-level
diesel is the state-of-the-art 1.3 CDTI ECOTEC engine (51 kW/70 hp),
followed by a 1.7-liter CDTI common-rail turbo-diesel (74 kW/100 hp).
A 66 kW/90 hp 1.4 ECOTEC gasoline engine with innovative fuel-saving
TWINPORT technology is also available for the Combo.
Besides the new four-valve,
four-cylinder engines, the Combo features a new generation of infotainment
systems. These systems were first introduced
in the new Astra and set a benchmark with their functionality and intuitive
operating concept.
Thanks to the new generation of engines, new infotainment
systems and other attractive optional features, the Opel Combo has everything
necessary
for continued success. In 2003, 63,395 customers throughout Europe chose
a Combo van, Combi (only available in Germany) or Tour - an increase
of 29 percent over 2002 (49,127 units).
The new Combo models can be ordered
now, and delivery will begin in September.
