Success of Opel in Croatia
Last month, Opel was the best-selling brand in Croatia. Its market share
in June went up 3.5 percent compared to the same month last year. With
a market share of 18.99 percent, Opel achieved its best result ever in
Croatia.
In the first half of 2004, Opel was the second-best brand on the passenger
car market, with only 13 units behind the first positioned. In the first
six months the Corsa was the best-selling model, while the Astra was
the most popular model in the compact segment.
In the light commercial vehicle segment, Opel was up 76 percent over
the same period last year.
