Opel's OnStar mobility service already has more than 100,000 Opel
owners as customers in Germany. Five years after launching this innovative
service, Opel sells the greatest number of telematic systems in this
category in Germany. OnStar will soon be even more convenient and easy
to use.
Since June, additional features are available, including a server-supported,
fully vehicle-integrated off-board navigation and an electronic logbook
(eLogbook). Onstar also provides roadside assistance with remote diagnosis
for the most important functions.
Low rates upon actual use and the new
easy payment system, called eMoney, now make OnStar affordable for everyone.
The
new infotainment systems, CD 50 Phone, CD 60 MMedia und CDC 80 Mmedia --
each with integrated dual-band mobile telephone -- have been especially
designed for use by OnStar and associated services. The new generation
of infotainment systems made their debut in the new Astra and can now
be ordered also well for the Vectra, Signum, Meriva and Combo models.
