Opel Vehicles for Bosnian Police

For 22 years the Bosnian police fleet drove exclusively VWs. Now, the Ministry of Interior of the Bosnian Herceg County has broken with this tradition and purchased 87 cars from Opel.

The fleet consists of 57 Astra Classic ll models, 5 Vectras, 9 Corsas, 11 Vivaros, 4 Combos and one new Astra.

The Bosnian Opel police cars celebrated their first public appearance during the reopening ceremony of the Old Bridge in Mostar last week. The bridge, which was built in the 16th century and destroyed in 1993 during the Bosnian war, is a symbol multiethnic society reunion.
