GM Daewoo worldwide car sales in July rise 38.2 percent

GM Daewoo Auto & Technology (GM Daewoo) today announced its worldwide car sales climbed 38.2 percent to 67,097 vehicles in July, up from 48,555 units in the same period last year. The Korean car maker said that it lifted its unit sales by 81.9 percent to 496,980 vehicles in the first seven months of the year.

While sales in the domestic market decreased by 1.8 percent to 7,902, exports rose to 59,195 units. This is an increase of 58.8 percent compared with July 2003.
