Opel is the best selling brand in Greece for the 3 rd consecutive month

Opel is the best selling brand in the Passenger Market in Greece for the 3rd consecutive month. In August, Opel registered 1,961 units achieving 10.1% market share. Total Jan - Aug market share is 7.87%. Best selling model in July and August has been the Astra that in the total 2004 registered 5,668 units and is the third best sold model in the Greek market (ahead of Golf with 5,474 units).

Beside Astra good sales performance, Corsa has been achieving outstanding results in 2004: after the first 8 months it is by far the leader in the segment and the best sold model in the Total Retail Market (5,942 units). Comparing this result with 2003, the increase is +83% (3,247 Retail units in the Jan-Aug 2003 period).
