Family friends: Meriva 1.6 wins AutoBild compact van comparison test
Only a few weeks ago, the Meriva won the AutoBild comparison test against Merceds A-Class and Honda Jazz. In the latest issue of the influential German car magazine, Meriva did it again. The Opel won another comparison test, this time against Fiat Mulitpla 1.6 16V, Hyundai Matrix 1.6 GLS and Mitsubishi Space Star 1.6.
Meriva scored the most points for its driving dynamics and comfort as well as interior space and quality. The Opel performed best in the braking test (cold brakes), has the shortest turning circle and offers the best value for money.
The editor highlights that Opel offers optional equipment in the Meriva which is normally only available in the premium segment. Verdict: “The same Meriva that won the test in the September 17 issue of AutoBild wins again today. Congratulations to Rüsselseheim ….”
