Opel Design Website wins Creative Excellence Award

The Opel Design website recently won the IWPA 2003 "Creative Excellence Award". This very prestigious award was presented to outstanding websites for the sixth time by the International Web Page Awards (IWPA), the leading international forum of web designers and graphic artists.

The jury rates the candidates in the categories of design, content and technical execution. The Opel Design website convinced the jury members in all three of these areas.

“Design at Opel” is a multilingual, flash-based website. The site underlines the importance of design for Opel. It offers comprehensive information about car design and the Opel design language. Visitors dive into the visual world of Opel and are able to experience the entire design process, from the first sketch to the final product. Since its launch in March 2003, the site attracted between 20,000 and 30,000 unique visitors per month.
