Opel Vectra Station Wagon most economical for long term leasing
In its November issue, the Belgian Fleet Management magazine ranks the Opel Vectra Station Wagon 1.9 CDTI (120 hp) as the most economical car for long term leasing. The Opel Vectra was compared with twelve direct competitors.
Fleet Management magazine had five leasing companies make a proposal for the monthly lease charge and simply took the average of the five prices quoted. The Opel Vectra Station Wagon 1.9 CDTI turned out to be the least expensive. For the comparative test conducted by Fleet Management, the lease contract ran over a period of 36 months with an average of 40,000 kilometres per year. The car featured the minimum options, metallic paint, air conditioning and a radio/CD player.
The Vectra Station Wagon was also praised for its homogeneity, good workmanship, comfort, roominess and modular design and was able to convince the Fleet Management test drivers particularly with its power and the fuel-economy of its new 1.9 CDTI engine, in this case in the 120 hp version.
