Opel at the 37th motor show in Essen

Tomorrow, the motor show in Essen, Germany, opens its gates to the public. The highlights at the Opel stand are the Astra GTC and the Astra High Performance Concept. Both cars, which were presented for the first time in Paris last September, celebrate their German premiere.

The new Astra GTC, available on the market as of next spring, is the most dramatic expression of the Astra’s dynamic design theme. The look is accentuated by a second world premiere, the innovative panorama windshield, which makes its debut in the GTC.

The Astra High Performance Concept demonstrates the dynamic potential of the new compact class generation and shows the way for future Astra high-performance variants.

In addition Opel presents a wide range of products, including the Tigra TwinTop and the Astra station wagon which both were successfully launched this year. A further highlight is the Vectra GTS V8 that was used in the Deutsch Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) this year.

The Essen motor show is particularly known for tuning, motorsports and classic cars.
