Opel confirms Manuel Reuter as fourth driver

Manuel Reuter has been signed as the fourth driver to race an Opel Vectra GTS V8 in the 2005 German Touring Car (DTM) championship.

Reuter has been driving for Opel since 1991. In 1996, the German won the International Touring Car Championship in an Opel Calibra V6. Another highlight in his career was the second place in the 2000 DTM, winning four races in that season. In 2003, he was one of the drivers of the Opel team winning the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring.

Beside Reuter, Laurent Aiello (France), Marcel Fässler (Switzerland) and former formula one driver Heinz-Harald Frentzen will be part of the Opel team in next year's DTM season.
