Opel maintains its number one position for 36th consecutive year in the Netherlands

2004 was another successful year for Opel in the Netherlands. For the 36th consecutive year Opel maintains its top position on the Dutch market. This is a unique international achievement. So far, no other brand has been able to top the sales statistics in a non-domestic market for such a long period of time. With 49,872 registered cars, Opel achieved a market share of 10.31 % in the Netherlands.

In 2004, the Dutch car market remained steady with 483,893 cars. Despite a very competitive market, Opel was still able to maintain its number one position in the sales statistics by the end of the year.
