Astra Caravan elected "Station Wagon Of The Year" in Portugal

The Opel Astra Caravan was elected "Station Wagon Of The Year" in Portugal by a jury of 22 journalists from motoring, general, radio and TV national media. This award is part of an initiative that represents one of the highlights for the Portuguese industry every year.

The journalists elected the winners in seven categories, from Small Car to Executive Car of the Year. The Opel Astra Caravan was the jury's choice in the station wagon category, outscoring strong competitors such as the Peugeot 407 station wagon or the Jaguar X-Type Estate.

The jury gave a clear preference to the Astra Caravan in the areas of quality, handling, safety, performance and price.
