Victory for Astra and Tigra
The readers of the German magazines “Guter Rat” and “Super Illu” chose two Opel models, the Astra station wagon and Tigra Twin Top, as “Smart Buys”.
The Astra won in the station wagon and van category, while the Tigra took top honors in the convertible and coupé category. Readers praised the Astra station wagon as “a fully fledged, economical family car” and judged the Tigra as “proof that cars that are really fun to drive can also be sensible.”
Opel Executive Director, Marketing, Alain Visser sees the double victory as an affirmation of Opel’s product strategy. “Our cars’ victory shows that Opel is right on track with cars that are dynamic and versatile.”
