Fastest Corvette ever hits Europe in December

The all-new Corvette Z06 will hit the European showrooms in December. With 511 horsepower, the Z06 is the most powerful Corvette ever. The Z06 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.

Thanks to its close technical relationship to the C6.R, the winning car of this year’s 24-hours race at Le Mans, France, the new Corvette Z06 production version can easily compete with the most exotic super sports cars.

The Corvette Z06 features a 7.0-liter V8 engine with 511 horsepower. It is the most powerful engine ever built by Corvette or GM for a production car. The Z06 achieves a top speed of 319 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.

The Z06 is equipped with a specially tuned chassis. The brakes have drilled rotors and are equipped with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers to perfectly control the enormous forces.

There is a choice of six exterior colors – Le Mans Blue Metallic, Black, Velocity Yellow, Machine Silver Metallic, Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic and Victory Red. The Z06 features a rich standard equipment. Only polished wheels and an integrated DVD navigation system with voice recognition technology and a Bose premium 7-speaker sound system need to be ordered separately as options.

The new Corvette Z06 will be available in Europe starting December. Despite the fact that European customers have not been able to test-drive the car yet, Cadillac & Corvette Europe has already received 150 orders for the Z06.
