Chevrolet liquid gas vehicles prove to be highly economical

Chevrolet vehicles equipped with the LPG gas propulsion system, received top marks in the recent "Economical Cars 2006" study, conducted by the largest German automobile club, ADAC, and New Look electronic data publishing GmbH.

In the study more than 5,600 different vehicles were analyzed based on purchase price, residual value, fuel consumption, tax, insurance, tires and service/repair costs. Chevrolet is the only car manufacturer in Germany to offer retro-fitted LPG systems for its entire product line-up.

The gas-powered Chevrolet Rezzo 1.6 SE was the most economical mid-size car in the study, with just 36.5 euro cents per kilometer. The gas-powered Chevrolet Kalos 1.2 S came in second in the small car segment, with 30.9 euro cents per kilometer.
