Saab 9-3 SportCombi receives prestigious Design Award

The Saab 9-3 SportCombi has received the prestigious Red Dot Design Award from the German Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen.

The 9-3 SportCombi's muscular stance and dynamic appeal convinced the international jury of experts. Especially the frosted, steeply raked rear light lenses distinguished the 9-3 SportCombi from traditional station wagons and give the vehicle a unique character.

The Red Dot Design Award is one of Europe's most prestigious design awards. This year, there were more than 2,000 entries from 41 countries in the categories of product and communication design.

Over the past 15 years, the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen has developed into an international communication and qualification center for design-orientated industrial enterprises, design studios, communication and multimedia agencies.
