Antara wins 2006 Auto Trophy award

The Antara has just received its first award: Readers of the German motoring magazine, "Auto Zeitung", elected Opel/Vauxhall's new crossover as the winner in the category of "Sport utility vehicle under 30,000 euros". The Antara beat a total of 26 international competitors.

Opel Managing Director Hans Demant was pleased to receive the Auto Trophy 2006 award: "With the Antara, we want to take a top spot in the mid-size crossover and SUV segment that has been dominated by non-European brands so far. Winning the 2006 Auto Trophy award shows how well the Antara is perceived by car enthusiasts."
